For the total coverage width, measure the total width of the area you'd like to cover, which is also the length of the track. We recommend extending out on each side from the edge of the window to make the area appear larger and to allow more light in when fully open. You can also use our stackback calculator as your guide.

For the curtain height, our standard track takes 1" in height.
- If you are looking for the just-above-the-floor look (most popular), measure the distance from the ceiling to the floor then subtract 1.5" (1.0" for track clearance + 0.5" for floor clearance).
- If you are looking for the puddling look, add 2”-6” to the ceiling/wall bracket to floor length.

Ripplefold curtains are constructed with fullness built-in. Curtain fullness refers to how many ripples or folds are present when the curtain is closed.
120% fullness: fabric width ≈ 2.3 x the coverage width
100% fullness: fabric width ≈ 2.1 x the coverage width (most popular)
80% fullness: fabric width ≈ 1.8 x the coverage width
60% fullness: fabric width ≈ 1.6 x the coverage width

Tracks longer than 85" in length will be spliced for FedEx shipping. If you prefer the tracks not be spliced, please email us at support@loftcurtains.com for the additional freight charges.

LOVE the curtains!!

I love the quality of the curtains and the overall look is beautiful! We bought ripple gold curtains. I thought they would be wrinkled from shipping, but when I got them up, not a wrinkle in sight! I would recommend LOFT curtains hands down and I’m already working on my next project with them! Customer service is also excellent, you get a person on the phone every time and we called several times with questions for mounting the ceiling track.

They look great

Happy happy happy we are pleased to say easy quality and support just amazing one big point it was our mistake not to take the rod into account so we need to shorten the drape by aprox .75 but that was our fault for not reading slowly Now on to the rest of the house.......

Curtain Guides

How to measure for curtains?

To ensure that curtain panels look ample when closed, they should have a combined width that is 2 to 2.5 times the width of the window/rod. That means if you are ordering Grommet style or Rod-pocket style, the total drapery width should be at 2 to 2.5 times window/rod widths.
